TV: Watch sport on Xbox

Written by: Mike Shaw

We already know that the Xbox can be used for some kick-ass games.

And we’ve talked before about the brilliant movie services now available on Xbox.

But what about sport?

It’s been the case for years that all the decent sport is on Sky, but now, if you don’t want a dish in your garden or don’t have the space for ANOTHER box under the TV, you can get it all through your Xbox.

Thanks to the awesome Sky services available via Xbox LIVE, a ton of sport coverage is open. Sign up for a Sky Go package (ranging in cost from £15-£40 a month) and you can watch live TV, sports and movies. And this:

While WWE weekly shows and some pay-per-views are available via Sky Sports, you’ll need ESPN for the UFC, but you can get that as an add-on to Sky which is simple to sort out. Even cooler is a service is the UFC Live app available in the USA and Canada which provides access to PPV events and a ton of additional content.

Surely it’s only a matter of time before it drops over here.

And remember, we have a special offer for our lovely readers. Get 50% off Xbox Live Gold by following these two steps:

1. Hit this link: http://bit.ly/voidxbox

2. See the box that says ‘Go Gold’? Enter this code: Th3V0id
