SINGLE: Idlewild – A Ghost In The Arcade

Written by: Staff Writer

Idlewild have long been one of those dependable bands. You can always rely on their tours to bring them somewhere near you, and before you even unwrap the cellophane, you’ve a pretty good idea of what each new album is going to sound like.

Not that that’s a bad thing though – dependable is good, if not groundbreaking.

This track is taken from the recent album Make Another World, and actually marks a bit of a departure for the band.

Electro-tinged and with heavier beats than usual, this is nonetheless archetypal Idlewild.

Short, fast and catchy – welcome back to the radio fellas!

Released on June 18, A Ghost In The Arcade is a download-only single, and the first 500 orders will receive extremely limited artwork for the record, individually signed by the band. Get hold of one yourself by going to www.recordstore.co.uk/Idlewild
