A strange choice of release by The Fratellis, who by now must be running out of songs to release from 2006’s Costello Music album.
That’s not to say that Ole Black ‘n’ Blue Eyes is a bad song, because it’s not, but it does sound very much like an Oasis B-Side crossbred with Music When The Lights Go Out, and not necessarily something that’s going to win The Fratellis any new fans.
The EP has been released in a very sexy and collectable 12-inch etched vinyl format, and is also available on download. Do the smart thing and get the record from here.
Also, be even smarter and enter our competition to win a limited edition Fratellis Creepin’ Up the Backstairs EP.
This was the band’s debut EP released on April 3, 2006. The fact that it is an EP and only a limited number of copies were pressed made it ineligible for the charts in the UK. If you’re a fan of the band, you want this prize.
To win, answer this question:
What is the predominant colour of the limited edition EP we are giving away?
Send your answers to firstname.lastname@example.org, and mark the subject header FRATELLIS.
Good luck comrades!
