Legendary horror movie production company Hammer has launched an online service offering on-demand prints of iconic quad artwork, just in time for the festive season.
Fans of such classics as One Million Years BC and Dracula can order the prints in two styles –newly restored or artfully weathered; as well as on greetings cards and postcards.
Hammer’s official historian Marcus Hearn is behind the launch, which features the works of top film poster artists including Tom Chantrell, who also worked on several Carry On film campaigns.
The new service coincides with the release of Hearn’s new book The Hammer Vault – an illustrated journey through Hammer’s gruesome back catalogue, including annotated scripts, unused artwork and promotional material. As an added bonus, if you buy the book you get access to exclusive footage of forthcoming Hammer release The Woman In Black, out February 10, which stars Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe as a young lawyer sent to investigate the haunting of a small village.
In the Christmas spirit, Hammer are offering 15% off all orders from the new print store until December 10.
