After the success of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Royal Albert Hall is showing The Matrix in HD accompanied by a live score.

The groundbreaking sci-fi film was released to huge acclaim in 1999 with the soundtrack one of the defining elements of the movie’s success.

On Sunday, October 23, 2011 the 85-piece NDRĀ Pops Orchestra (conducted by Frank Strobel) will bring the score to life over a high-definition screening of the Oscar-winning film.
